Jazz Band 
| The North Lincoln High School Band of Knights Jazz Band is under the direction of Mr. Jerry Lowe. With rehearsals beginning before Marching Season is complete in the Fall, the Jazz Band rehearses one or two afternoons a week after school. Concerts are presented during the year with the concert bands. This group also presents concerts on their own in the community and at other school functions. Over the past three years, the Jazz Band has earned several "Superior" and "Excellent" ratings at festivals and competitions. Last year at Fiesta-Val in Atlanta, the Jazz Band was First Place in the AAA division and received a "Superior" rating. At the North Carolina Music Educator's Jazz Festival, the NLHS Jazz Band has received "Superior" ratings the past two years.  |
