***NEEDS
1.  We are needing some cans of Ant Spray for use on the Practice Field.  There was not a problem with Fire Ants last week until after the rain on Wednesday.  We need some spray cans for "quick fixes" in the future.  Thanks to Bill and Rhonda Carter for spreading Fire Ant Killer on the field this weekend.
2.  Thanks to the parents who donated some paper cups for on-field water for students.  We still need lots more.
3.  We serve the students canned soft drinks and cookies/snacks at all home ball games.  Since we start this week, we need to fill the Booster Closet with canned drinks (name brands please) and snack food.  Please send with students to practice.

GREAT JOB to everyone who worked at  and those who donated to the Yard Sale!!!  Also a big "pat on the back" to the ladies sewing flags, dads building props, and Linda Royston fitting uniforms.  All this going on this weekend.  WOW!

Don't forget the Little Caesar's Pizza Kit Sale...underway NOW!

Keep up the GREAT work supporting the best kids in the world...the North Lincoln "Band of Knights!"
BAND CAMP 08 A GREAT SUCCESS!!!

NLHS BAND OF KNIGHTS HAVE STUDENT EARN A SPOT IN  U.S. ARMY ALL-AMERICAN BAND FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN-A-ROW!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS AUSTIN REEP!!!!!!!
Austin Reep has been selected as one of six baritone players from the United States to perform with the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band this coming January at the Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas.  Austin, a rising senior baritone/euphonium player in the North Lincoln Band has been a member of All-District and numerous other state and region honor band programs.  He will serve as Brass Captain of the 2008 Band of Knights Marching Band and Principal Euphonium in the Wind Ensemble.  Fans will hear him in the featured solo with the marching band during the second number of our show "Resolution."  North Lincoln Band and North Lincoln High School are proud of this accomplishment.  Austin competed with senior high school musicians from around the United States for the honor of All-American.  Austin will follow in the footsteps of Molly Underwood, piccolo, who was in the very first All-American Marching Band last year.  He will have an all-expense-paid trip to San Antonio and spend five days working on a show to perform for the halftime of the All-American Bowl in the Alamo Dome.
Way to go Austin!  We're proud of you!!
