ACHIEVEMENTS & AWARDS 2004-2005
Congratulations to the cast, crew and orchestra for a wonderful production of "Beauty and the Beast." The show was received with "rave reviews" and was enjoyed by everyone.

"An experience to remember the rest of your life" are the words used by judge Craig Everett (Band Director at West Carteret) about the performance of the "Band of Knights" Wind Ensemble at State Concert Festival in Shelby on March 17th. The Wind Ensemble's Grade VI performance was awarded with straight "superiors" on stage, and a "superior" in sight-reading. The band received a standing ovation from band students and directors in attendance. In addition to "straight superiors" the judges awarded the Wind Ensemble with "straight As" in every caption.

Seventy-two units competed during the full day of competition. Performing their audience appealing show "History Repeating," out of the 19 guards in their class, our "Band of Knights" Winterguard finished 4th place. Instructors Lisa Biggs and Dana Meisner were thrilled with our guard's performance and said to watch out for them next year. Only graduating one senior member, the "Band of Knights" Winterguard can look forward to even bigger and better things next year.
