NLHS BAND OF KNIGHTS HAD STUDENT EARN A SPOT IN  U.S. ARMY ALL-AMERICAN BAND FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN-A-ROW!!

WAY TO GO AUSTIN REEP!
ALL AMERICAN MARCHING BAND

Austin Reep was selected as one of six baritone players from the United States to perform with the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band this January at the Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas.  Austin, a senior baritone/euphonium player in the North Lincoln Band has been a member of All-District and numerous other state and region honor band programs.  He served as Brass Captain of the 2008 Band of Knights Marching Band and Principal Euphonium in the Wind Ensemble.  Fans heard him in the featured solo with the marching band during the second number of our show "Resolution."  North Lincoln Band and North Lincoln High School are proud of this accomplishment.  Austin competed with senior high school musicians from around the United States for the honor of All-American.  Austin followed in the footsteps of Molly Underwood, piccolo, who was in the very first All-American Marching Band last year.  He enjoyed an all-expense-paid trip to San Antonio and spent five days working on a show to perform for the halftime of the All-American Bowl in the Alamo Dome.
Way to go Austin!  We're proud of you!!
